The Conference on Computational Innovation and Social Systems (CISS) brings together researchers, practitioners, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore how advanced computing technologies shape, transform, and empower modern society. As computational science continues to drive breakthroughs in data analytics, intelligent systems, distributed computing, simulation, and emerging digital infrastructures, its applications increasingly influence social structures, human behavior, public policy, and community well-being. CISS serves as a dynamic forum for interdisciplinary dialogue, showcasing cutting-edge research and practical innovations that bridge scientific rigor with societal impact. Through collaborative exchange, the conference aims to inspire scalable solutions, foster responsible technology development, and chart new pathways for computing to address complex challenges in an ever-evolving world.
Core topics at CISS span a wide spectrum of contemporary issues at the intersection of computation and society. These include AI-driven social systems, digital governance, computational modeling of human and organizational behavior, data ethics and privacy, smart cities and intelligent infrastructure, high-performance computing for societal applications, and technology-enabled public services. The conference will also highlight advancements in cybersecurity, sustainable computing, human–computer interaction, and the computational foundations of equitable and inclusive digital ecosystems. Together, these themes provide a comprehensive look at how computational innovation can be harnessed to create resilient, adaptive, and impactful solutions for global societal challenges.
